Attending your appointment

Please ensure you read the below information PRIOR to your appointment

REFERRALS

Please ensure you have a valid referral letter from your GP.
GP referral letters are valid for 12 months from your initial consult whilst Specialist is valid for 3 months. Please note if you are booking an appointment for an entirely new reason you will require a new referral letter.

COVID19

You must be fully vaccinated against COVID19 to enter Western Hospital and Adelaide Dermatology Associates. You will be asked to produce evidence of your vaccination on entry to the hospital. Please ensure you have this readily available on the day.

In line of protecting our patients and staff from the risk of contracting or spreading the COVID-19 virus. We are currently reducing patient numbers to ease the number of people in the waiting room and to comply with social distancing there we ask that:

  • Only the patient enter unless with an essential carer
  • You refrain from attending your appointment more than 15 minutes early due to limited seating.
    There is a café located within the hospital that patients are welcome to attend to

If you have any of the following symptoms- fever, Cough, Sore throat, Shortness of breath,
or have had close contact with someone diagnosed with or suspected of having COVID-19 in the last 7 days,
or are awaiting the results of a PCR test

CARPARKING

There is a carpark located at the front of the hospital at no charge as well as surrounding streets. Please note in busy periods the carpark can become full so allow your self plenty of time to find a park.
